Shorter chip runs, less waste.
About Chiprun
What it does
Every tree job ends with a chipper full of chip and, often, a pile of logs. Most of it is driven to a green waste site and tipped for a fee. Meanwhile gardens, allotments, farms, schools and log burners a mile or two away would happily take it.
Chiprun puts the two on one map. Hosts drop a pin, say whether they want mulch / woodchip, logs or both, and the largest vehicle that can reach them. Tree surgeons search near the job and see every site in range that still wants more.
How it's paid for
It isn't, yet. Listing a site and searching are both free, and hosts can't charge a tipping fee. Log buyers can offer to pay for loads, and public tips (council or commercial) show their own gate fees.
Who runs it
Chiprun is built and run in the UK by webdawson, which also makes TPO Checker. It's a matching service only: we don't carry, store or sell any material.
Arborists moving tree waste should hold a waste carrier registration, and hosts spreading chip on land may need a waste exemption. The guides cover what applies.
